Women's History Month - Philadelphia

Participate in a variety of events in honor of Women’s History Month. During the Philadelphia Girl Power show, visitors can learn about the remarkable women who have called Philadelphia home, such as Betsy Ross and Marian Anderson.

Visitors also can take a self-guided tour of the Center’s main exhibition, The Story of We the People, which highlights defining moments in women’s history.

In connection with American Spirits: The Rise and Fall of Prohibition, the celebration will turn the spotlight on famous women of the Prohibition era, including Carry Nation, Frances Willard, and Pauline Sabine.
