In the wooded areas surrounding Cedar Run Lake, visitors can go on self-guided walks, look for feathered friends along the Bluebird Trail & meet some of the animals cared for in the rehabilitation compound. In the Education Center & Children’s Museum, learn about the Pine Barrens through the interactive Exploration Station, relax on the plush ‘deer couch,’ or see reptiles & other small animals. The Refuge hosts kids & family nature programs.
