Essential Information

Rtes. 532 & 32
Washington Crossing, PA 18977

At this park, George Washington & his army crossed the Delaware River on Christmas 1776 & launched a surprise attack & victory against troops in Trenton, NJ.

Besides the annual Christmas re-enactment, the site hosts monthly hands-on colonial history programs for families. Download a map on their website or go on a guided tour to see the historic buildings located within the park.

Kids can check out the Kid’s Corner online before visiting (or print the pages & bring them with you). The fun section features puzzles & lessons and even answers the question 'Did George Washington ever have a Hershey bar?'
