The Belmont Mansion of the Peters family once hosted several Founding Fathers for stays. Later, it became a refuge for slaves during the Civil War’s Underground Railroad. Visitors today can learn about the importance of the Underground Railroad through a film & related exhibits. Go on a guided tour or hear stories from push-button audio stations in the Mansion.
