This University of Pennsylvania arboretum features more than 2,500 types of growing plants, including the attraction Out on a Limb, which takes you into the treetops at 50 ft. above ground, and the Garden Railway, a miniature railroad & town built from natural materials. The Arboretum hosts year-round programs for families & kids.

FAMILY MUSTS: The Out on a Limb Tree Adventure lets you stroll through the trees on the canopy walk and climb the Squirrel Scramble’s hammock-like net 50 feet in the air. Leave your perch to decode riddles and search for hidden sculptures as part of the Sculpture Scavenger Hunt.
