The Station was built in the late 19th century to respond to shipwrecks along the coast. Today, it’s been restored to its 1905 appearance (even donning a diamond-shaped trim similar to the original) & often hosts craft programs where visitors can learn how to make knotted ‘sailor’s bracelets’ or carve soap.
