- History Museums & Sites
Located along the banks of the Brandywine River, Hagley was originally an early 19th century gunpowder mill. Today, history and science combine in hands-on exhibits. At the schoolroom in Worker’s Hill, solve puzzles and try writing with a quill pen. In DuPont Science & Discovery, you can see a real space shuttle suit and sit in Jeff Gordon’s NASCAR. Younger kids often like playing with the axles, levels and gears in "Easy Does It!"
KIDBIT: Solve engineering challenges via hands-on activities during the family-oriented Science Saturday program.
