Description:

Head to the Delaware History Museum to learn about the First State’s 400-year history in Distinctively Delaware, a permanent, multimedia exhibit. Displays, artifacts, photographs and recreated scenes cover topics from Native American stone tools to the latest synthetic fibers. The Society also oversees other historic buildings throughout Wilmington & New Castle.

Extra: Visit the Jane and Littleton Mitchell Center for African American Heritage, located in the history museum.

Cost Cutter

FREE admission for those with a Brandywine Treasure Trail Passport; purchase a family pass for $95 that grants two adults and up to three kids (ages 17 & younger) free general admission to a dozen Brandywine Valley attractions.
