While the Foundation says the main audience for its museum is ‘scientifically curious adults,’ older kids just as curious -- and serious -- about their studies can appreciate the Foundation’s main display on the history of chemistry. Just remind your child to look, not touch, except for the interactive, touch-screen Periodic Table show. Some elements of Interest: Antique chemistry sets, Jell-O recipes & a traveling exhibit on the molecular movement of plants. The First Friday program of each month offers projects & demonstrations.
KIDBIT: Step back in time with a look at kids laboratory sets and toys from the 50s and 60s in the new Science at Play exhibit, open through September 2, 2016.
