Burlington is home to several New Jersey firsts: pharmacy, library & fire company, just to name a few. See those buildings & these other must-see stops (out of more than 40 sites): the Revell House (213 Wood St.), affectionately known as the Gingerbread House, since tradition has it Benjamin Franklin bought gingerbread & enjoyed a dinner here; the Isaac Collins Print Shop -- Franklin also stopped here to print colonial currency (206 High St.); and the former home of President Lincoln’s friend, General Ulysses S. Grant (309 Wood St.). Go to the Tourism Center (High & Broad Sts.) first, where you can pick up a map for a self-guided walking or audio tour or reserve a spot for a guided tour.
