Ready to talk turkey? In the FREE program Thanksgiving: A Native American Perspective, Sun. at 2:30pm at the Historical Society of Montgomery County in Norristown, food historian Susan Plaisted will depict the first Thanksgiving from the viewpoint of the area's original settlers.
Sprout fans can meet, greet and snap photos with Super Why, Sat. 11am-1pm at Philly's Market Shops at Comcast Center. This FREE Saturday Playdate With Sprout features screenings of Super Why episodes, cupcake decorating, a gaming spot and cultural activity stations.
Penguin power is in full force Sat. and Sun. at the Adventure Aquarium in Camden, which hosts an array of activities to promote penguin conservation during African Penguin Awareness Weekend. (Black tie not required.)
The Arts Council of Princeton's FREE annual Day of the Dead celebration puts traditional Mexican culture on display, with strolling mariachis, paper flower making, sugar skull decorating, face painting and Mexican fare taking over the Princeton Shopping Center Courtyard.
