Amazon.com baby registry: very helpful!

Amazon.com baby registry: very helpful!

Gone are the days when expecting moms and dads walked around a physical store with a scanner, adding only items from the shelf to their baby registry. The convenience of the Internet and online shopping now allows us nearly limitless possibilities for baby registries, further access to product information and customer reviews.

The Amazon.com Baby Registry is quite possibly the easiest and most convenient baby registry around. Amazon provides helpful tools to help you decide what you need, organized into categories like clothing, diapering, nursery decor and furniture.

Expecting Moms: Coupon Codes for Free Baby Gear!

Here are some coupon codes for free baby gear goodies for expecting Moms!

Visit CarseatCanopy.com and use Coupon Code "carseat" for 100% off the purchase price of any car seat canopy of your choice (a $50) value. You just pay shipping and handling.

Visit UdderCovers.com and use Coupon Code "PJBaby" for 100% off of the purchase price of any nursing cover (Value $32). You just pay shipping and handling.

Visit SevenSlings.com and use Coupon Code "FREE" for 100% off of the purchase price of any Baby Carrier of your choice (Value: $48). You just pay shipping and handling.

Hubby and I used Amazon to research essential baby gear that we needed this time around, read countless reviews and chose items based on those reviews and the number of stars a product received. There was no limit to what we could add and the registry even allowed us to add items from other sites to our Amazon registry.

For me, the customer reviews are essential. Amazon customers are very good at leaving honest feedback and that really helped us sort through what was safe, what worked and what was not a good choice. Friends and family appreciated that we chose only items that qualified for free super saver shipping.

There are many ways to sort items: by price, free shipping, average customer rating. We experimented with all of these sorting techniques and found them extremely helpful.

When you register with Amazon.com, you receive automatic email updates when someone purchases an item off your registry. You also receive a 10% completion discount and free 90 day returns. Amazon returns are super easy. You just look up your account, find the order, print the label and send it back, no questions asked.
