Weekend Planner: Take Flight!

Weekend Planner: Take Flight!

This weekend, soar into the sky on helicopters and planes — or learn all about creatures that fly.

Take a helicopter ride, play on moonbounces and enjoy other family fun at the American Helicopter Museum's KidFest in West Chester on Saturday.

All weekend in Pottstown, airplane rides are available at Heritage Field Airport for pennies-per-pound of your weight.

If you prefer not to fly, learn all about creatures with wings instead. A festival at the Camden Children's Garden celebrates the return of monarch butterflies, and Bird Day at the Brandywine Zoo in Wilmington features games, crafts & activities focused on our feathered friends.

For more weekend events, search hundreds of activities on our calendar. Receive weekend event highlights directly in your inbox each week! Sign up for MetroKids' e-newsletter today.
