Sponsored by the Philadelphia Center City District, the contest challenged kids to draw “What I love about being a kid in Center City. A third winner, Maya Levi, 5, lives in Johnson City, NJ.
The winning posters can be seen at six Center City bus shelters: 19th and Walnut Sts.; 13th and Walnut Sts.; 15th and Walnut Sts.; 18th and Chestnut Sts.; Broad and Chestnut Sts.; and on Market St. just outside Macy’s.
The Center City District created KidsInCenterCity.org to provide a Center City family resources hub, including attractions, events, schools, healthcare, day care, dining and shopping.
“Children’s imaginations are almost limitless and Center City offers much to inspire them. These posters celebrate the many attractions for families with children in and around the downtown,” says Paul R. Levy, president and CEO of the Center City District.
