Weekend Planner: Honor Martin Luther King, Jr.

Weekend Planner: Honor Martin Luther King, Jr.

Martin Luther King, Jr. Day doesn't have to be just another day off from school. Kids can celebrate King's legacy through learning programs & service projects.

The African American Museum in Phila. presents performances, historical re-enactments, stories, face painting, craft projects & a scavenger hunt for kids on Monday.

At the nearby National Constitution Center, kids can sing along with Two of a Kind and join in quilting and sewing projects for charity.
