Lots of maple sugar festivals happen this weekend, where families can learn about & collect sap samples, play games, make crafts, hear stories and of course, taste yummy maple treats!

 

 

Philly & the 'burbs

Head to the FREE festivals at the Peace Valley Nature Center in Doylestown, or the John James Audubon Center in Audubon.

The Wissahickon Valley Watershed Association in Ambler and the Great Valley Nature Center in Devault are holding festivals with a small admission fee.

South Jersey

Stony Brook-Millstone Watershed

Find more maple sugar fun at Howell Farm in Lambertville and the Stony Brook-Millstone Watershed in Pennington.

Check out the new World War II exhibit opening this weekend at the South Jersey Museum of American History in Glassboro.

Delaware

It's Grandparent's Day at the Brandywine Zoo in Wilmington, featuring special activities & crafts focused on the importance of grandparents to humans & animals.

This weekend at the Delaware Children's Museum in Wilmington, kids can use markers & spray bottles to draw planets or make "footprints on the moon" with shaving cream.
