Bring your kids (for free!) to the Philadelphia Folk Festival, Fri.-Sun., Aug. 19-21 at Old Pool Farm in Schwenksville, Montgomery County. This family-oriented music and crafts event is the largest and longest-running festival of its kind in the U.S. Head to Dulcimer Grove (between the Crafts Stage and Camp Stage) to make sun catchers and other kids' crafts, and to see the Give & Take Jugglers perform magic shows on Saturday and Sunday afternoons. Do your kids play a stringed instrument? Sign them up for the Great Groove Band, who perform before the weekend's final concert on the main stage, Sunday. $28.50-$74 daily passes, kids ages 11 & younger free. Camping packages available.
