Philly & the 'burbs

The 5K Run for Clean Air & Earth Day Celebration in Philadelphia features runs for adults and kids, and a FREE party at the base of the Art Museum steps with activities, exhibitors and refreshments.

 

Courtesy of Greener Partners, which operates the Longview Center for AgricultureCheck out the giant, FREE Science Carnival on the Parkway in Philadelphia featuring more than 100 exhibitors offering interactive experiments & activities, games and live entertainment.

Kids' activities, demonstrations and live animals make up the celebration at the FREE Longview Center for Agriculture in Collegeville.

The FREE Garden Center Weekend at Linvilla Orchards in Media features crafts, mascots, hayrides and workshops.

Walk through a hand-made rendition of a forest with hundreds of life-size plants and animals at the FREE Children's Earth Day Forest in Gladwyne.

FREE activities include scavenger hunts, storytelling, nature exploration and face painting at the Jarrett Nature Center in Horsham.

South Jersey

The FREE Collingswood Green Festival includes demonstrations, a Kids' Zone, music, food, free bike tune-ups and more.

Head to Duffield's Farm Market in Sewell for a Special Day for Children with Special Needs featuring discounted pony rides, face painting, balloon artists, tractor rides and miniature horses.

Get to hiking, birding and geocaching at the Earth Day Festival at the Plainsboro Preserve in Cranbury.

The FREE Earth Day celebration at the Children's House Montessori School in Wilmington features activities focused on recycling & earth-friendly topics, sales, food, crafts, gardening & more.

Discover and sample unique ways to prepare asparagus and enjoy hayrides, activities and live animals at the FREE Asparagus Peak Party at Fifer Orchards in Camden-Wyoming.
