Exploration Camp: Go Green Team! at the Riverbend Environmental Education Center, Gladwyne, PA. Kids stay busy with science experiments, outdoor exploration, crafts and hands-on activities.

Presidents' Day Camp at the Handwork Studio, Narberth, PA. Kids make a project to take home.

School’s Out, Get Outside: Presidents’ Day Camp at the Briar Bush Nature Center, Abington, PA. Includes hikes, games, animal presentations and crafts.

Winter Break Camp at Fernbrook Farms Environmental Education Center, Chesterfield, NJ. Follow animal tracks, learn about winter wilderness survival, warm up near the fireplace, tap sugar-maple trees to make syrup and play outdoor games.

 

Saturday, February 17

Presidents’ Day Weekend at City Tavern, Phila. As host of the Emmy Award-winning A Taste of History, Chef Walter Staib has visited & cooked in all of the first five presidents’ homes.  In honor of Presidents Day, Chef Staib prepares special menu items inspired by some of the first presidents’ favorite dishes.  

Presidents’ Day Weekend at the National Constitution Center, Phila. Activities include presidential trivia, a kids’ town hall, craft tables and a presidential costume contest.

Presidents’ Day Weekend at the National Liberty Museum, Phila. Find out how the nation’s leaders shape the past, present and future; explore important historical moments via interactive activities and exhibits; and make your own “china” inspired by pieces at the White House.
